Asian Activities Report for December 2, 2011: Panasonic (TYO:6752) to Launch a New Residential Power Storage System in Japan
Sydney, Dec 2, 2011 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Panasonic Electric Works, a Panasonic Group (TYO:6752) company, is to launch a new residential power storage system in late December in Japan. The system, if linked to a solar power generation system, can store power in batteries and provide back-up electricity when a power failure occurs. The price of the system is set to be 459,900 yen.
