Carnarvon Project Update

Perth, June 6, 2012 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Perth-based clean power company Enerji Limited (googlechartASX:ERJ) has further progressed with installation of its waste heat to power system at Horizon Power's Carnarvon Power Station with the pipe bridge (over the service road between Enerji's equipment and the powerstation) and transformer now in place.

The installation of these two items represents a significant milestone - all major equipment is now in place and ready to be piped and cabled.

While this activity is based on the physical infrastructure, a good deal of work has been occurring on the less physical aspects of Enerji's waste heat to power system. The Opcon Powerbox is a significant component of this system but hot water is its main requirement in order to generate electricity. It's the waste heat recovery system developed by Enerji that captures the heat and provides it to the Opcon Powerbox.

A key element of the heat recovery system is the control system that will automatically operate the required valves and pumps based on information gathered from the many temperature and flow sensors that have been installed. The control system, housed in the switch room, which was installed on site last week, along with the first time designs for the heat recovery system represent a major part of Enerji's intellectual property and investment. These designs and systems will be used in future projects.

In the coming weeks, further works on the piping and cabling will be undertaken as well as the erection of the enclosure and canopy for the Opcon Powerbox and its pre-commissioning.

Enerji continues to develop its pipeline of prospects for the Opcon Powerbox in the mining industry and remote town sites while also exploring project and equipment finance options.

The Opcon Powerbox has the capacity to produce up to 20% more electrical power without burning additional fuel, while also potentially lowering CO2 emissions by up to 15%. Customer savings from the Opcon Powerbox have been estimated at up to $5.1m after five years and $34.7m after 20 years.
