Veidekke ASA StatoilHydro has awarded a contract for construction work relating to upgrading of the processing facilities at the Kårstø processing plant to Veidekke Entreprenør AS, on behalf of operator Gassco.
The contract, which is part of the Kårstø expansion project (KEP 2010), has a value of approximately 120 MNOK excluding VAT.
It covers mainly site preparation, foundations for equipment and modules, road works, and a new concrete building for emergency generators including all facilities.
The construction work will start immediately, and is scheduled for completion in the course of 2009.
