Sydney, Nov 27, 2007 AEST (ABN Newswire) - In keeping with the exploration program outlined in the Company prospectus the Board of Amex Resources (ASX: AXZ) provides the following update;

Breakaway Dam (Copper)

Based upon the results of an Electro Magnetic (EM) survey and channel sampling conducted earlier this year, a first pass RC drilling program was developed that has now been completed. The program consisted of 7 holes totaling 342m with visible copper mineralisation identified in the oxidized zone.

Samples have been submitted for analysis.

Planning of a follow-up program has commenced subject to the assay results and will incorporate evaluation of the deeper target identified in the EM survey. The EM survey may be extended to the north-west to close off the target.

WoodlineWell (Gold)

An RC drilling program consisting of 8 holes totaling 598m has been completed at Woodline Well. The program was designed to validate gold results from previous RAB drilling programs and identify extensions of mineralisation at depth.

Samples have been submitted for analysis.

JJ's (Gold)

The Company has applied for the prospecting licence 46/1624. The application identifies an additional 178 hectares to the north of the tenement and will provide greater flexibility with future drilling programs along the Off Chance / Belle View strike.
