Acquires Assets of Marketplace DoNanza
Sydney, Mar 11, 2015 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Freelancer Limited (Freelancer or the Company) (ASX:FLN) today announced the acquisition the assets of DoNanza, a freelance job marketplace and aggregator.
Founded in 2008 by Ami Dudu, Liran Kotzer and Gil Pal, DoNanza aggregated and consolidated freelance jobs published across the Web and matched them with over 360,000 freelancers in their database based on their individual skill sets, price and expectations.
DoNanza received $1 million in financing in 2011 from Google Chairman Eric Schmidt's Innovation Endeavors fund, Yossi Vardi, Afterdox and other investors before closing down in July 2014.
The acquisition of DoNanza will be funded from the Company's existing cash reserves and is not expected to have a material impact on revenue in FY15.
