Announces President, CEO and Managing Director

ASX:TPD) Chairman, Dr John Armstrong, is pleased to announce that Clifford S. Foss has been appointed President, CEO and Managing Director of Talon Petroleum after serving as President and CEO with Texon Petroleum Ltd until the company merged with Sundance Energy on 8 March 2013.
Mr Foss has managed both private and public oil and gas companies over a career that spans forty years with a strong emphasis toward monetizing assets after building value through the drill bit. Early in Mr Foss' career he led the asset building Exploration team and later the sales team for Cockrell Oil Corporation in two significant transactions.
This strategy was repeated at Barrett Resources in the Gulf of Mexico, at KCS Resources ($2B) into Petrohawk and then at Petrohawk where he led the team to sell the Gulf Coast assets to Milagro Energy for $825mm and most recently at Texon Petroleum where the company was merged into Sundance Energy for 31% of their company while maintaining enough assets to restart at Talon Petroleum.
