Asian Activities Report for October 31, 2011: Endocoal (ASX:EOC) Increases JORC Resources at Rockwood Coal Project to 312.5 Million Tonnes
Sydney, Oct 31, 2011 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Endocoal Limited (ASX:EOC) announces a 505% increase in JORC Resource at Rockwood coal project in Queensland from 51.6 million tonnes to 312.5 million tonnes. The resource upgrade comes after an intensive exploration program at Rockwood since April/May 2011. Endocoal believes that Rockwood is prospective for low volatile pulverized coal injection (PCI) coal product. Results of coal quality tests and potential end-user assessments are expected in mid-November 2011.
Circadian Technologies Limited (ASX:CIR) has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to initiate clinical trials of VGX-100 in the USA. The Phase I trial will study VGX-100 in patients with a variety of late stage cancers, particularly glioblastoma and metastatic colorectal cancers. The Phase I trial is expected to commence before the end of 2011 with results due in the second half of 2012.
