3rd China International Medical Device Summit to Focus On the Medical Device Development in China
Beijing, Oct 7, 2011 AEST (ABN Newswire) - China's continual growth in the medical industry has experts predicting China's medical device and application market will double its 2010 revenue of 120 billion RMB over the next five years.
With many factors including an aging population and growing awareness of healthcare contributing to the steady growth rate of 23% in 2010, China faces pressure to be industry leaders and meet the requirements of the Major Work Assessment, released in 2011, covering Major Reform Issues within the domestic pharmaceutical and health care system. This assessment will see that 300 county hospitals, 1000 township central clinics and 13000 village clinics are established this year, making urgently required medical care available within the countryside.
As a result, many members within the medical industry across the nation have been invited to attend the 3rd China International Medical Device Summit, to be held at the Kuntai Royal Hotel in Beijing on the 14th-16th December 2011.
The agenda has been specifically designed and will feature presentations from industry experts, interactive platforms, and discussions concerning the future of the enterprise. Participants will gain an insight on the forward movements of the medical device industry in China. Participants will also have the opportunity to raise their concerns and be provided abundant networking opportunities.
With highly valued speakers including representatives from SFDA (The State Food and Drug Administration), DNRC (National Development and Reform Commission), MOHRSS (Ministry of Human Resource and Social Security of the PRC), China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicines & Health Products, Beijing University of MOH, Peking University People's Hospital etc, the 3rd China International Medical Device Summit promises to deliver much needed perception regarding the future of medical devices in China.
