Asian Activities Report for August 24, 2011: TVN Corporation (ASX:TVN) Drilling Update at the Nuurst Coal Project in Mongolia
Sydney, Aug 24, 2011 AEST (ABN Newswire) - TVN Corporation Pty Ltd (ASX:TVN) announced the results from its latest drilling activities at the Nuurst Project in Mongolia. A 97.5 metre thick coal sequence has been intersected, which extends the known coal seam development a further 800 metres north. Coal seam development now extends over 2.4 km of strike length. The Company is waiting further drilling results from the drilling activities.
PMI Gold Corporation (ASX:PVM) reported further positive drilling results from the ongoing drilling program at its 100%-owned Obotan Gold Project in Ghana. Results confirmed that the Nkran deposit has potential to upgrade its resources and the Asuadai deposit contains broad zones of gold mineralisation which remains open at depth.
Senex Energy Limited (ASX:SXY), as Operator of the PEL 111 Snatcher oil field joint venture, has reached agreement on key commercial terms with Santos Limited (ASX:STO), as Operator of the PPL 177 Charo oil field joint venture, for the pipeline transportation of crude oil from Snatcher oil field to Moomba. The Snatcher oil field will be connected via a new pipeline to be constructed between the Snatcher oil field and Charo oil field.
