Dart Energy Limited (ASX:DTE) Appoints Mr Simon Poidevin As Non-Executive Director

Brisbane, Mar 2, 2011 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Dart Energy Limited (ASX:DTE) are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Simon Poidevin OAM as a non-Executive Director of Dart.

Mr Poidevin is an Executive Director of Pengana Capital. He joined Pengana Capital in April 2009 after 14 years with Citigroup (NYSE:C) in Australia, where he headed the firm's Corporate Equity Broking Business.

In total, he has worked in Global Financial markets for over 27 years.

Mr Poidevin represented Australian in Rugby Union from 1980 to 1991, captaining the Wallabies in 1986 and 1987 and becoming the first Wallaby to play 50 test matches.

Mr Poidevin was awarded an OAM in 1988 and awarded the Centenary Medal in 2003 and was inducted into the Australian Hall of Fame in 1991. He is also a board member of the UNSW Foundation and an Emeritus Member of the Ben Lexcen Management committee at the UNSW. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of New South Wales, a Blue in Rugby Union and is a member of both the UNSW Sporting Hall of Fame and the UNSW Faculty of Science Hall of Fame.
