Kimberley Metals (ASX:KBL) COO Stuart Mathews Speaks at Excellence in Mining 2010
Sydney, Sep 27, 2010 (ABN Newswire) - FINANCE VIDEO: Kimberley Metals (ASX:KBL) COO Stuart Mathews Speaks at Excellence in Mining 2010 in Sydney.
Kimberley became an independent entity in May 2008 when the shareholders of CBH Resources Limited agreed to the distribution of its 100% shareholding in Kimberley to CBH shareholders based on a consideration for the net assets acquired by Kimberley of A$18 million.
Kimberley's aim is to quickly become an established precious and base metal producer and has assembled a balanced portfolio of assets to achieve this goal. The Company's key assets are:
The Mineral Hill Gold-Base Metal Project. Includes the recent discovery of shallow high grade gold mineralisation at the Pearse deposit and upgrading of the Parkers Hill polymetallic resource. Significantly, both are located within 1 kilometre of the existing process plant.
The Sorby Hills Lead Silver Project. A substantial, near surface Inferred resource of 16.9 million tonnes grading 4.6% Pb and 56 g/t Ag, close to established infrastructure.
The Constance Range Iron Project. Interest in a defined resource in a potential new iron ore province.
