             APPOINTMENT  OF  VOLUNTARY  ADMINISTRATORS

On Friday 29  August 2008  the Company announced  that following  the
conclusion of the Board's detailed review of the Company's  Goondicum
Industrial Minerals Project,  the Board  were in  discussions with  a
limited number  of  strategic  investors  to  address  the  Company's
interim and longer term financing requirements.

The Company today announces that following those discussions, it  has
not been successful in raising the  funding required to meet its  the
interim financing needs. Accordingly, the Board has today resolved to
place the Company into voluntary administration.

The Board of  Directors has appointed  Ian Hall and  David McEvoy  of
PricewaterhouseCoopers to  act  as Voluntary  Administrators  of  the
Company with immediate effect.
