DaTong Coal Industry Co., Ltd (SHA:601001) is principally engaged in coal mining, washing, processing and distribution. The Company’s major products are coal and kaolium products. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the Company sold out approximately 21,770,210 tons of coal, coal accounted for approximately 99.93% of the Company’s total revenue. It distributes its products in domestic and overseas markets. As of December 31, 2009, the Company had six subsidiaries and one affiliate, which involved in manufacture and distribution of coal and construction materials, technology development, mining investment and operation of railways.
