China Daye Non-Ferrous Metals Mining Limited expanded its business to cover natural mineral resources investment and development in 2007. The Group currently possesses various wolfram mines and one molybdenum mine in the Republic of Mongolia along with a number of silver and copper mines in Xinjiang, the PRC. The WQ (SLB) Mine has already commenced trial commercial mining and refining operations. Other mines of the Group also hold exploration rights and are operating smoothly. 
China National Resources Development Limited ("the Group", Stock Code: 661), a natural mineral resources developer in the PRC, announced that it has changed its company name to "China Daye Non-Ferrous Metals Mining Limited". The Group's English short name for shares trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will be changed to effective on 21 August 2009. The new name will be more clearly to convey the nature of the business by focus on the natural mineral resources business.
China National Resources Development Limited (HKG:0661), a natural mineral resources developer in the PRC, is pleased to announce that China Daye Non-ferrous Metals Mining Limited has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Government of Xinjiang Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture of China (the "Ili Government") for the joint development of the nonferrous metals and mineral resources in Xinjiang on 5 August 2009.
China National Resources Development Limited ("China National Resources" or "the Group")(HKG:0661), a natural mineral resources developer in the PRC, proposes to change its Company's name in English and Chinese to "China Daye Non-Ferrous Metals Mining Limited" in order to convey the nature of the business by focus on the natural mineral resources business. The change of new name is subject to the approval of shareholders at coming Special General Meeting.
