Bowen Energy Limited

Bowen Energy Limited (ASX:BWN), an Australian coal and uranium exploration company, said today that India's Bhushan Steel (BOM:500055) has made an on-market takeover bid at a price of A$0.10 per share for all of the fully paid ordinary shares in the company.

The board of Bowen Energy Limited (ASX: BWN) has previously announced that drilling has commenced on the Blackwater South Project EPC1045 "Shotover". The drilling rig supplied by JD Drilling commenced drilling at the southern end of the lease targeting coal seams of the Bandana Formation (Rangal Coal Measure Equivalent) on the eastern limb of the Purbrook Anticline.
