Tingyi (Cayman Islands) Holding Corp. is an investment holding Company. The Company and its subsidiaries are engaged in the manufacture and sale of instant noodles, bakery and beverages in People's Republic of China. The Company operates primarily in four business segments: instant noodles, beverages, bakery and other businesses. As of December 31, 2008, the Company distributed its products throughout the People’s Republic of China through its sales network consisting of 5552 sales offices and 84 warehouses serving 5,872 wholesalers and 69,096 direct retailers. The Company’s products are marketed under the Master Kong brand name.
