The 2017 East Coles Corporate Performance Awards was held at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney to honour the highest achievers across the S&P/ASX100 and S&P/ASX200.

This gala event saw corporates from across Australia gather to be recognised for their success over the past year, as voted by the funds management community.

The event was live streamed to a global audience by Boardroom.media, and we would like to thank our other media partner ABN Newswire for providing distribution on every institutional desk and terminal across the globe.

There was a tie for 'Best CFO' across the S&P/ASX100 with Peter Fredricson from APA Group and Roger Thompson from Janus Henderson jointly taking out the 'Best CFO' Award. APA Group also took out 'Best Investment Desirability'.

Oil Search was voted the stock with the 'Best Growth Prospects' out of the S&P/ASX100, whilst Mark Dehring and his team at CSL took out the Award for 'Best Investor Relations'.

Entertainment for the event included a sublime performance from the incredibly talented electric violin artist Jane Cho that captivated the audience. Jane has headlined world-class events around the globe from London through to Dubai including Australian Fashion Weeks. Other entertainment included a fashion show from Kaliver, a label that is one of Australia's brightest rising stars from designer Roni Cross and models were kindly supplied by Bella Management.

All proceeds from the event went to Transplant Australia. Transplant Australia is a national charity representing transplant recipients, donor families, living donors and all those touched by organ and tissue donation and transplantation. This prestigious annual event is voted on by over 50 prominent financial services organisations, where equities analysts from both fund managers and brokerage houses score the S&P/ASX200 stocks they cover across 25 categories. The scores are then used to create league tables, with the idea being to provide a feedback mechanism between the investment community and the S&P/ASX200 to enhance market efficiency.
