Delivery of XPED App iCharger Plugin to Complex Semiconductor

Complex Semiconductor, a subsidiary of Lenze Technology Co. Limited of Shenzhen China, has established a joint venture with Xped to develop and market Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) based products. iCharger is the first product to be produced under the joint venture agreement. Complex Semiconductor designed the electronics and plastic housing for the product and Xped developed a custom plugin for the Xped app. The plugin enables the playback of music stored on a smartphone to be streamed over Bluetooth to the device which then broadcasts it on an FM radio frequency so that it can be heard on a standard FM radio. The device is very popular in mainland China, an older version selling many millions of units per month.
The software plugin has been developed for both the iPhone and Android versions of the Xped app and provides language support for both English and Chinese. Complex Semiconductor are currently testing the app and Xped expects the user acceptance tests to be completed in the next few weeks.

The iCharger product is expected to begin shipping in 2017.
