Appointment of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary
Perth, Sep 27, 2013 AEST (ABN Newswire) - The Board of Northern Mining Limited (
ASX:NMI) welcomes Mr Patrick Tan as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary, commencing 01 October 2013.
Mr Tan is a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant for both CPA Australia and CPA Singapore and is a Registered Tax Agent with more than 22 years' experience in auditing, accounting and finance.
He has held Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary roles in a number of public companies involved in mineral exploration, oil and gas, energy, FMCG and manufacturing industries in Australia and Singapore. Mr Tan has significant experience across a broad range of financial and commercial functions including corporate secretarial, mergers and acquisitions, managing multimillion dollar EPCM contracts, negotiation of syndicated bank loans and financial modelling.
Mr Tan replaces Mr Ross Kestel as Company Secretary.
The Board would like to thank Mr Kestel for his valuable contribution to the Company over the past seven years.
