613m mineralisation and 3D IP
Sydney, Sep 3, 2013 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Sovereign Gold Company Limited (ASX:SOC) announce that drill hole GHD006 is testing the strike length of Hobbs Pipe 1 toward the WNW (inclined to 82deg).
GHD006 commenced on 26 August 2013 and reached ~613m this morning. Visible mineralisation has been observed from surface.
The strike extent to the ESE will be tested later (GHD007).

3D IP Geophysical Survey
- Targeting validity of multi-pipe concept

3D IP
The 3D IP Survey is planned to commence within the fortnight and will consist of 7 arrays over an area of approximately 2 km x 800m.
Induced polarisation surveys are an electrical geophysical survey utilised primarily for the detection and mapping of disseminated sulphide bodies. The data is collected from multiple points and inverted into a high resolution 3D model.
A validation of the multi-pipe concept is planned to follow the 3D IP survey.
