Global Green Building China Focus 2011 Conference To Introduce Siemens (NYSE:SI) Green Building Solutions

Shanghai, April 13, 2011 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Siemens AG (NYSE:SI) (ETR:SIE) will present its green building solutions at Global Green Building China Focus 2011 Conference to be held on 14th-17th June in Beijing.

As the world undergoes unprecedented changes such as globalization, urbanization, climate change and demographic shifts, all the countries and cities must incorporate sustainable measures so that there can be real progress on climate change and future sustainability.

Siemens I BT has an enormous existing market because of its vast installed base for around total 65,000 buildings worldwide. It is estimated that TAIPEI 101 can enjoy an annual reduction of 10% in energy costs, 10% in water consumption, and 10% in wastage, adding up to a total of 20 million NT saved per year. This marks a newer, higher and greener standard for all buildings in Taiwan.
