FerrAus Limited (ASX:FRS) Appoints Bryan Oliver As Executive Director

Perth, Sep 6, 2010 AEST (ABN Newswire) - FerrAus Limited (ASX:FRS) (PINK:FRRAF) today announced that it has appointed Mr Bryan Oliver as an Executive Director.

Mr Oliver has more than 30 years experience as a senior executive in the iron ore industry for organisations within Australia and internationally with Midwest Corporation (ASX:MIS), Robe River Mining and Iron Ore Company of Canada.

His responsibilities have included the management of complex mining and resource operations, many of which have delivered significant increases in shareholder value over sustained periods of time.

The Non Executive Chairman of FerrAus Limited, Mr John Nyvlt, said that Mr Oliver was an ideal candidate to lead the company through a very busy period in its development.

"Bryan's energy and extensive knowledge will be invaluable in guiding FerrAus during a time when we are completing the Pre Feasibility Study and maintaining a strong exploration program," he said.

"During his career Bryan has also played a vital role in the development of corporate strategy for some of the most significant players in the Australian resource sector.

"We anticipate that Bryan will remain in an executive role until the Board, which is currently engaged in a national recruitment process, appoints a new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

"Bryan will then remain on the Board as a Non Executive Director," Mr Nyvlt said.

Mr Oliver will commence his appointment on Monday 6 September and will be based at FerrAus Limited's South Perth headquarters.
