ABM Resources NL (ASX:ABU) Reports High Grade Results From Sabre Prospect On Stafford Gold Zone: 17 Metres @ 3.93g/t Gold Including 2 Metres @ 18.15g/t Gold

Perth, May 24, 2010 AEST (ABN Newswire) - ABM Resources NL (googlechartASX:ABU) is pleased to announce that the first assay results from drilling at the Sabre Prospect on the Stafford Gold Zone have been received.

Highlights:

- Sabre Prospect partial* drill hole results include:
 35 metres @ 2.02g/t gold (from surface) including - 17 metres @ 3.93g/t gold (from 13m) including - 2 metres @ 18.15g/t gold (from 20m).
- Extends the Sabre Prospect to a broadly mineralised zone over 120 metres wide (with previous results indicating strike length of at least 400 metres).

- Best ever intercepts from Sabre when compared with compiled historic drill data.

*These results are for the top 57metres of the drill hole drilled with RC drilling. The diamond-core component from 57m to 208m is currently being processed.

Sabre Prospect Delivers

Darren Holden, Managing Director of ABM said, "It is exciting to see the first drill hole results for ABM in this region. The top of the first hole at the Sabre Prospect confirms a substantial width of gold mineralisation and has both extended the ore-zone eastward and has returned the highest grades to date on this project. We eagerly await the remaining assay results from this hole and the other holes in this program."

The Sabre Prospect is located approximately 190 kilometres north-northwest of Alice Springs and 70 kilometres west of Aileron on the Stuart Highway. The prospect consists of a 600 metre by 240 metre gold anomaly defined by surface geochemistry and shallow geochemistry drilling. Drill results show mineralisation over a 120 metre wide zone and a strike length of over 400 metres.

Hole SB100002, the first hole drilled at Sabre this year, intersected sheared sedimentary rocks with quartz veins. The diamond core also showed a 15 metre wide dolerite body with several quartz / sulphide veins at approximately 163 metres down hole depth and assays are pending on this portion of the hole.

Drilling Update

ABM Resources has currently completed 4 holes of its seven-hole deep drilling program using a multiple purpose Reverse Circulation / Diamond Core rig at the Stafford Gold Zone. Drill hole details and status are shown in Table 2 (see link at the bottom). Assay results have been received for:

- The one RC hole drilled at the Assegai prospect, which returned no significant intercepts, and

- Part (from the RC pre-collar) of one of the two holes drilled at the Sabre Prospect.

The drilling at the Stafford Gold Zone is scheduled to be completed within the next week. Upon completion, the aim is to move further northwest to test the Twin Bonanza project including the Buccaneer Porphyry Project, the TB Hornfels High Grade Zone and, the Old Pirate High Grade Zone.
