Coalspur Mines Limited (ASX:CPL) Appoints Mr David Leslie As Vice President Of Technical Services
Perth, May 18, 2010 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Coalspur Mines Limited (ASX:CPL) (PINK:CSPZF) is pleased to advise that it has further strengthened its management team with the appointment of Mr David Leslie as Vice President, Technical Services.
Mr Leslie is a Geological Engineer and is registered as a Professional Engineer (Mining) in the province of Alberta, Canada. He brings to Coalspur a mining career spanning over twenty years of experience in the coal and oilsands mining industry. Mr Leslie most recently was working with Teck Resources (NYSE:TCK) as Manager of Mining Engineering. Prior to that Mr Leslie has worked with AMEC Consulting (LON: AMEC) (Principal Mining Engineer), Synenco Energy (Manager, Mine Engineering), Elk Valley Coal and Fording Coal.
As Vice President, Technical Services Mr Leslie will be responsible for all phases of exploration, geology and mine engineering in the development of the Hinton Coal Project. Mr Leslie will be based out of the Calgary office.
