Beach Energy Limited (ASX:BPT) Announces New Management Appointments

Adelaide, May 7, 2010 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Effective 1 July 2010, Beach Energy Limited (ASX:BPT) (PINK:BEPTF) wishes to announce new appointments to its senior management team.

Mr Neil Gibbins will lead the exploration & production team as Chief Operating Officer. Mr Steve Masters, as Chief Commercial Officer will be responsible for Commercial & Corporate Development. Business Review & Planning will be headed by General Manager, Mr Gordon Moseby.

Mr Hector Gordon, currently Chief Executive Officer will continue as an Executive Director of Beach whilst acting as Managing Director of Somerton Energy Limited (formerly Essential Petroleum Resources Limited (ASX:EPR)).
