Yara International ASA (OSL:YAR) Oslo (2008-10-01): Jørgen Ole Haslestad today takes over as President and CEO of Yara International replacing Thorleif Enger who reached his desired retirement age.
Haslestad, 57, spent 14 years at Siemens in senior executive positions around the world. In 2001 he became Group President of Siemens' Industry Solutions Services, a group with annual turnover of about USD 12 billion. After Siemens reorganization he became CEO of the Industry Solutions division in January 2008. He also served as a board member for both Yara and Tandberg since 2004.
