Vizrt Ltd. (OSL:VIZ) Bergen, Norway, September 26, 2008, Vizrt Ltd. (Frankfurt Prime Standard, Oslo Main List: VIZ) today announces that the Company has entered into an agreement with Norwegian company "CatchTheEye" (CTE) regarding the delivery of software for CTE's "Digital Signage" business. CTE will utilize technology developed by Vizrt for TV screen-layouts in stores. CTE's objective is to create in-store advertising that should be systematic, dynamic and in accordance with the merchandise the stores wishes to promote at any given time.
CTE will be the first company in the world that utilizes Vizrt's combined platform for video storage (Ardendo), MPS-client technology and the company's traditional TV-graphics system. The value of this first contract is around USD 1 million. The contract includes an option whereby additional upgrades can be made to the system for up to a further USD 1 million.
