Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) 's-Hertogenbosch - The Supervisory Board of Heijmans N.V. intends to appoint Mr. Gerrit Witzel as a member of the Executive Board of Heijmans N.V. effective 1 October 2008. Mr. Witzel (57 years) possesses extensive and in-depth experience in the civil works contracting sector. Between 1998-2008 he was chairman of the Strukton Groep N.V.'s Executive Board.
The Heijmans Central Works Council in the meantime has issued positive advice. During the Extraordinary Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Heijmans N.V. to be held on 26 September 2008, information will be provided concerning the appointment of Mr. Witzel as a member of the Executive Board.
Effective 1 October 2008, the Executive Board of Heijmans N.V. will consist of Rob van Gelder (Chairman), Gerrit Witzel and Dick van der Kroft.
