CHANGES IN SIGNIFICANT SHAREHOLDINGS


Pursuant to AIM Rule 17, Discovery Metals Limited (the 'Company')
advises the following in relation to significant shareholdings:

The Company received today notification from a new Significant
Shareholder, Trafigura Beheer BV, that it now holds 8,841,863
ordinary shares in the Company (6.8%).

The new Significant Shareholder previously held a total of 6,222,718
ordinary shares in Australia and the UK.   It acquired a further
2,619,145 shares on 24 August 2008 for a total of A$1,021,500.
