Copeinca The Comisión Nacional Supervisora de Empresas y Valores (CONASEV) the corresponding supervisor entity, on July 31, 2008 notified Copeinca of the approval of the dual listing of the shares of Copeinca ASA on the Lima Stock Exchange (LSE).
Copeinca ASA on June 10, 2008 submitted an application for the dual listing of the Company`s shares on the LSE. In accordance with Peruvian regulation, both CONASEV and the LSE approved Copeinca's request.
No new shares will be issued in connection with the listing. Depositary Receipts (DR's), representing the shares of Copeinca ASA, will be issued by a depositary bank (JP Morgan Chase & Co), allowing investors in Lima to invest in Copeinca through DR's, carrying the same rights as the shares they represent.
Copeinca will trade on the LSE in USD (US Dollars) as is customary with other DR's traded in Lima.
A presentation of Copeinca ASA to local investors will be hosted by the LSE in the coming days. The Copeinca DR's can start trading on the LSE soon after the official listing on August 1st, 2008.
