Christer Simrén was most recently Managing Director of Wermland Paper. Christer Simrén has a long history with both Korsnäs and Kinnevik; between 1999 and 2001 he was COO and CEO of Korsnäs. Prior to that he was head of Applied Value's Chicago office. Christer Simrén holds a PhD in Industrial Management and Economics from Chalmers University of Technology. He will take up his new position September 1 2008.
