Nordea Appoints Lauri Peltola As New Head Of Group Identity And Communications

Nordea Lauri Peltola, 45, has been appointed Nordea's new Head of Group Identity and Communications as of 1 September 2008. He will succeed Torben Laustsen who has been appointed Deputy Head of Banking in Denmark.

Lauri Peltola has been heading Nordea's External Communications since April. He has previously worked as Communications Director for Metsäliitto Group and Global Media Relations Director for Nokia. In 1999-2005 he held various managerial positions within communications in Nordea.
