Brisbane, June 13, 2008 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Kangaroo Metals Limited (ASX: KML), a diversified exploration and mining company with projects in North Queensland and Tasmania, has received and compiled the first round of reverse circulation drilling results from Antimony Reward.

KML completed a 10-hole program of Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling at Antimony Reward in May 2008. Holes were targeted below and adjacent to historical workings in the form of vertical shafts some 10m deep and shallow diggings which form a distinct zone 200m in length striking east-northeast.

Assay Parameters:

Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling samples were assayed at ALS laboratories in Townsville, North Queensland during April and May of 2008. Antimony values were derived using method ME-ICP41s, an aqua regia digest of 0.5g of sample material in a temperature and pressure controlled environment for one hour.

Elemental concentrations are measured simultaneously by ICP Atomic Emission Spectrometry with on-line internal standard rationing. Sample with values greater than 5000ppm were analysed further using ALS methods XRF05 where a 30g sample is mixed with binding agent to produce a briquette from which elemental concentrations are measured by X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry by rationing net peak intensity to the Compton scatter intensity. Any samples which reported values greater than 10,000ppm by method XRF05 were then reported to method XRF07, which measures elemental concentrations using XRF and enables higher levels of elemental concentrations.

Intersections have been calculated using consecutive samples with values greater than 1,000ppm.
Significant Intersects:- ARRC006: 3m @ 3.49% Sb from 62m, including 2m @ 5.51% Sb from 62m- ARRC010: 12m @ 2.73% Sb from 29m, including 2m @ 11.93% Sb from 30m - ARRC011: 3m @ 1.38% Sb from 47m- ARRC012: 2m @ 1.87% Sb from 11m- ARRC012: 5m @ 3.21% Sb from 19m, including 1m @ 12.25% Sb from 23m
Economics:

The current geometry and indications suggest the possibility of bulk extraction by either underground block cave or open pit operations. Further investigations of a possible parallel geochemical anomaly identified by previous exploration will assist in defining a complete geological model of the area and direct KML towards prospective exploration targets and the most viable extraction model.

Further Exploration:

The current round of drilling has identified significant intersects which have not been closed off along strike or at depth. Significant mineralization was identified at 130 metres downhole in ARRC011, outside the expected mineralization envelope and is not closed off at depth. The second round of drilling will target additional depth and seek to identify the extremities of the mineralized zone along strike.

Additional geochemical surveys have been undertaken across the mineralized zone to delineate the extent of the parallel system identified by previous exploration, and allow selection of further drill targets to assess the extent of this additional system.

Geophysics across the region has been flown at 50 metre line spacing and 50 metre average sensor height with data analysis expected within the next few weeks.
"KML is extremely happy with the intersects identified so far and look forward to the second round of drilling, geochemistry and geophysics to help delineate the mineralized zone and get a better understanding of the geological controls on this site."
