Brisbane, May 28, 2008 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Queensland-based minerals exploration company Aussie Q Resources (ASX: AQR) is pleased to announce additional new molybdenum intercepts which confirms the existence of a broad trend of strong molybdenum mineralisation at the Company's Whitewash Copper/Molybdenum Prospect (part of the Rawbelle Project Area) near Monto in Central Queensland (EPM 14628 - 100% AQR).

Assay data from four drill holes, namely; 08WW066D, 68D, 69D and 72D potentially adds additional width to the northwest of the Whitewash (WW) mineralisation as well as an increase in depth extent. The WW mineralised zone remains open to the north, south, west and at depth.

Encouraging Drill Results towards the northern end of Whitewash extend the exceptional result from previously reported 08WW065D:

Drill hole 08WW068D was an exceptionally good hole, encountering a broad intersection of 237m from 34m to 271m averaging 0.043% MoO3eq if an 85% recovery rate is assumed.

This included an intersection of 120m averaging 0.05% MoO3eq if an 85% recovery rate is assumed. There were numerous other intersections combining for an aggregate of 118m grading 0.084% MoO3eq if an 85% recovery rate is assumed or (477ppm Molybdenum (Mo) and 0.124% Copper (Cu)), along with significant other mineral credits.

Drill hole 08WW072D encountered an aggregate of 90m averaging 0.1% MoO3eq if an 85% recovery rate is assumed, along with significant other mineral credits.

Drill hole 08WW069D encountered an aggregate of 75m averaging 0.0825% MoO3eq, along with significant other mineral credits.

Drill hole 08WW066D encountered an aggregate of 81m averaging 0.0714% MoO3eq, along with significant other mineral credits.

Drill hole 08WW068D is situated 100m south of the previously announced drill hole 08WW065D (April 28, 2008) which also intersected a very broad zone of molybdenum mineralisation.

Assays from the remaining drill holes at Whitewash are expected in the next few weeks.

Negotiations in Hong Kong

Mr Frank Gardiner AQR's Chairman and John Goody are in Hong Kong at present continuing negotiations with interested executives from large China based mining/metals groups.

The visit to the region is consistent with the Company's stated objective to pursue appropriate partnering opportunities to maximize the development potential of AQR's Rawbelle Project area.
