Tecnam 2002 JF Canopy
Sydney, June 17, 2005 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Basair Australia (Bankstown Airport Sydney) has placed an order for six brand new Tecnam 2002JF trainers.
These aircraft are all metal two seat trainers - designed to a be a modern replacement for the trainers currently in use. They are a fully certified aircraft, meeting all the requirements set by the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority for use as a trainer. The first two are expected to be online around the end of July 2005.
The Tecnam trainers are manufacutured in Italy by S.R.L. Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam, founded in 1986 by F.lli Pascale. The aircraft manufacturer's interests are divided into two main activities:
The first pertains to the construction and assembly of structural components for commercial aviation; among these components are the tailplanes for the ATR 42/72, fuselage panels for Douglas and Boeing, parts of the G222, tailplanes and moving surfaces for the SF260, fuselage elements for the P68, helicopter components for Agusta, and other parts for LearJet, Falcon, Dornier, etc.
The other sector to the design and manufacture of prototypes and production units for light or ultralight aviation.
