The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------- Jelmoli announces that Mr. Roland Walder, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Jelmoli Holding AG, decided to leave the company by 30 June 2009 to seek new challenges after serving Jelmoli for 17 years in various financial functions. Mr. Markus Meier will succeed as CFO as of 1 March 2009.



Markus Meier (44), after graduating as BBA (Betriebsökonom FH), worked with Arthur Andersen AG to become a certified accountant (dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer). From 1995 to 1999, he held executive positions at Arthur Andersen in Zurich and St. Gall in the areas of auditing, tax and advisory. From 1999 to 2003 he was the financial and tax Group Controller of BZ Gruppe Holding Aktiengesellschaft, Wilen, as well as of several other listed and private group companies. As of 2003 he acted as Head Corporate Auditing and Tax with Ascom, Bern. Since 1 April 2006, he is as CFO member of the executive management of Mobimo, a listed real estate company, responsible for the areas finances/tax, HR and IT.

Christopher Chambers, Chairman of the Board of Directors, states: "In his function as CFO, Roland Walder made a significant contribution to implementing the strategic plan which will be put to a vote by the shareholders on 23 January 2009 and we are grateful that he will continue to fully collaborate with us until the planned completion of the restructuring of the group in summer 2009. We are also very happy to find in Mr. Meier an outstanding qualified successor who is well familiar with the challenges of a listed real estate company in Switzerland."
