Telenor ASA (Telenor) is provider of mobile communications services worldwide. Telenor is also the provider of television (TV) services in the Nordic region. The Company has four segments: mobile communication, fixed line communication (Fixed), TV-based activities (Broadcast), and others. As of December 31, 2007, Telenor had 143 million mobile subscribers worldwide. During the year ended December 31, 2007, the Company acquired Spray Telecom AB, CEK AB, Tele2 A/S, TeamR3 A/S, Talkmore Holding AS. On January 9, 2008, the Company’s non-wholly owned subsidiaries’ option plans (EDB Business Partner ASA) IS Partner AS.
