East West Petroleum Corp. (CVE:EW), formerly Avere Energy Inc., is a junior exploration and production company. Effective September 1, 2010, it purchased four producing oil wells and thirteen gas wells (eight flowing coal bed methane (CBM) gas) (the Carbon Property), which is located approximately 50 miles northeast of Calgary, Alberta. With the acquisition of the oil and gas interests, the Company carries on business of the acquisition of, exploration for and production from oil and gas properties.
