The Company’s Global Consumer Group and Global Business-to-Business Group provide a variety of products and services worldwide. The Global Consumer Group offers a range of products and services, including charge and lending (credit) card products for consumers and small businesses worldwide; consumer travel services, and stored value products, such as Travelers Cheques and prepaid products. On February 29, 2008, Company completed the sale of its international banking subsidiary, American Express Bank Ltd. (AEB), to Standard Chartered PLC.
