NIPPON MINING HOLDINGS, INC. is a Japan-based holding company mainly engaged in the oil and metal businesses. The Company operates in three business groups. The Oil group is engaged in the development, drilling, manufacture and sale of energy resources, such as gasoline, petroleum and natural gas. This group is also involved in the petrochemical and oil-related business. The Metals group is engaged in the development and drilling of non-iron metallic resources, the manufacture and sale of gold, silver, bronze, sulfur, copper foils, thin-film materials, precision rolling and processing machinery, among others, as well as the provision of industrial waste services for non-iron metallic products and transportation services related to its metals business. The Others group is involved in the provision of information processing, engineering, land transportation, funding and other services. The Company has 115 consolidated subsidiaries and 15 associated companies.
