GM Holden Ltd

GM Holden is beholden to GM. A subsidary of US automaker, General Motors, GM Holden makes and distributes cars, trucks, and auto parts throughout the Australian continent. The company sells a variety of automobiles produced in-country in addition to a number of imported GM models. GM Holden also exports it products (both engines and cars) worldwide, the Middle East is the company's largest export market. GM Holden was formed in 1931 when General Motors Australia merged with Holden Motor Body Builders. Holden Motor Body Builders had already established its relationship with GM by building car bodies for such GM brands as Buick, Cadillac, and Chevrolet.
