Hyundai Steel Company, formerly INI Steel Company, is a Korea-based steel manufacturer. The Company's products are comprised of section steels, such as wide flange beams, H-beams, I-beams and structural tees; steel-deformed bars for concrete reinforcement; rails, including light rails and elevator guide rails; stainless steel sheets and coils; casting and ingots, and cold- and hot-rolled steels. During the year ended December 31, 2007, the Company had an annual production capacity of 13, 605, 000 tons of steels, and its actual output was 11, 333, 000 tons of steels. The Company provides its products to both domestic and overseas markets, with a marketing network of offices in Korea, and overseas offices in Beijing, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Singapore, Dubai and Tokyo.

US stocks fell on Tuesday on disappointing corporate news and renewed worries over global credit markets. Asian stocks mostly opened lower today with Australian and Japanese markets slashed sharply at opening.
Asian markets opened broadly firmer today after the Wall Street rally boosted by the unexpectedly good housing data in the US. Japan's Nikkei share average rose above the psychologically key 8,000 level in early trade.
Asian markets ended sharply lower Friday, weighed down by the weakness in the US and European markets. Japan's Nikkei Stock Average fell 1.9% as investors were still not comfortable with the recent falls of Japanese yen, but the slumping Korean won hurt shares in Seoul with the Kospi plummeted 3.7%. Shanghai and Hong Kong stocks gained about 1.5%. Today the Chinese shares opened slightly weaker while the Hong Kong shares were up 1.8 percent.
