Tata Power Company Limited is power and energy company. During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2008 (fiscal 2008), the Company generated 14,717 million units of power from all of its power plants. Its Trombay Thermal Power Station generated 10,002 million units of power in fiscal 2008. Its three hydro power plants: Bhira, Bhivpuri and Khopoli generated 1,489 million units during fiscal 2008. Its Jojobera Thermal Power Station generated 2,862 million units. The Belgaum Independent Power Plant generated 237 million units during fiscal 2008. During fiscal 2008, the Company commissioned additional wind power capacity of 12.8 megawatts at Khandke and 3.75 megawatts at Bramanvel in Maharashtra. North Delhi Power Limited has become a subsidiary of the Company from January 2008.
