Marine Harvest ASA (OSL:MHG) (Oslo, November 14th 2008) Marine Harvest ASA reported a financial EBIT of MNOK -1 343 in the third quarter of 2008, compared to MNOK -34 million in the corresponding quarter last year, following the previously announced write downs in Chile. Operational EBIT ended at MNOK 103 in the period. The new business plan for Marine Harvest Chile, with the ambition of reaching break even in 2009, was finalized during the quarter.

Marine Harvest ASA (OSL:MHG) Turnaround process in Chile In the Q2 2008 presentation, Marine Harvest announced that a new business plan for business unit Chile would be finalised during Q3 2008. Further, Marine Harvest announced that an impairment test of the balance sheet values would be executed based on the assumptions in the new business plan.

He will remain in an advisory capacity until the end of 2008. After finalizing certain outstanding projects and some important HR issues, Dr Gillies will step out of daily operations by 1 October 2008.

Marine Harvest ASA (OSL:MHG) Oslo, August 15th 2008) Marine Harvest ASA reported an operational EBIT of MNOK 145 in the second quarter of 2008, compared to MNOK 407 in the corresponding quarter last year, due to the biological situation in Chile, a higher share of downgraded fish and increased costs in Norway. The operational EBIT is improved from the loss of MNOK -65 in the first quarter. The company has implemented the planned operational actions in Chile in the second quarter. A new business plan for Chile will be concluded during the third quarter.
