Armour Energy Limited and its parent D'Aguilar Gold Limited (ASX:DGR) are pleased to advise that Armour Energy has finalised a seed capital raising and agreement for cornerstone IPO participation by investment funds affiliated with Och-Ziff Capital Management Group LLC.

D'Aguilar Gold Limited (ASX:DGR) are pleased to advise of the completion today of a A$10 million seed capital raising for Armour Energy, ahead of a planned A$50 million IPO later in 2011.

Following the Demerger of Dart Energy Limited (ASX:DTE) from Arrow Energy Limited (ASX:AOE) (PINK:ARWEF) and the subsequent establishment of Dart as an independent ASX-listed company, the Board has been seeking to build out the executive and management team of Dart.

Further to the announcements to the ASX on 28 May and 26 July 2010, D'Aguilar Gold Limited (ASX:DGR) are pleased to provide an update on activities of its subsidiary Armour Energy formed to focus on gas opportunities in northern Australia.

Bow Energy Limited (ASX:BOW) (PINK:BOWYF) are pleased to provide an update on exploration, appraisal and pilot production program in Bow's Bowen Basin CSG tenements. So far this year, Bow operations have been delayed over three months due to wet weather, which resulted in limited access, unsafe conditions and unscheduled delays in our reserves certification. Regardless, Bow's aggressive drilling and testing programs scheduled over the current quarter are targeting to deliver upon Bow's continued reserve upgrades from early next year.

Brickworks Limited (ASX:BKW) (PINK:BRKWF) posted a Normal Net Profit After Tax ('NPAT') for the year ended 31 July 2010 of A$110.2 million, down 3.1% from A$113.7 million for the year ended 31 July 2009. After non-regular items, Brickworks' Headline NPAT was A$138.8 million, down 54.5% from A$305.2 million in the previous year.

Beach Energy Limited (ASX:BPT) (PINK:BEPTF) has received a A$43.2 million contingent payment from Arrow Energy (ASX:AOE) in relation to the sale of the Tipton West assets.

Shares in Dart Energy Ltd (ASX:DTE) are scheduled to commence trading Thursday on a deferred settlement basis on ASX, with up to 367 million shares on issue.

The Australian sharemarket Wednesday opened higher with gains across all sectors, as Wall Street significantly surged overnight, inspired by the upbeat corporate earnings for the second quarter. Today The S&P/ASX 200 index jumped approximately 1.7 per cent shortly after the opening bell.
