Anglo Australian Resources NL (ASX:AAR) Report On Activities For the Quarter Ended 30 June 2009

Anglo Australian Resources NL (ASX:AAR)(PINK:AAURF) is pleased to announce that it has successfully applied for co-funding of a helicopter supported gravity survey at its Victoria River Downs Project in the Northern Territory. Under the Geophysics and Drilling Collaboration program the Northern Territory Government provides 50% of costs - up to A$100,000 - to assist companies with the costs of exploration geophysics or drilling in remote areas.

Phase two of a resource definition and extension diamond drilling programme at Anglo Australian Resources' (ASX:AAR)(PINK:AAURF) wholly owned Koongie Project, located 25kms east of Halls Creek, was completed in November 2008. The program which included a number of deep drill holes consisted of 7214m of RC pre-collars and 2624.2m of diamond core tails, tested the Sandiego, Onedin, Atlantis and Neptune prospects.

Anglo Australian Resources NL (ASX:AAR)(PINK:AAURF) The Feysville Project is based on two wholly owned mining leases located 16km SSE of Kalgoorlie. The leases are situated in the geological / structural corridor, bounded by the Boulder Lefroy Fault, that hosts the world class gold deposits of Mt Charlotte, Fimiston, New Celebration, Victory-Defiance, Junction, Argo and Revenge / Belleisle of St Ives as well as other smaller deposits such as the 60,000oz Hannans South deposit (located 3km north of Feysville).

Yesterday Australian shares ended lower as the resources sector was dragged by the dropping commodities prices. The benchmark S&P/ASX200 share index closed down 85.4 points, or 2.3%, at 3694.3, and the broader All Ordinaries index was 84.6 points lower, or 2.3%, at 3643.6. Investors forecast the economic downturn may not change in a short term with more staff layoff and grim corporate results coming.
