Lingbao Gold Company Ltd., a Hong Kong listed company (Stock Code: 3330.HK), was founded on 27 September 2002 and is located at Lingbao City of Henan Province, which enjoys the fame of “Gold City of China”. The Company mainly engages in the mining, processing, smelting, deep processing and sales of mineral products. The principle product is gold bullion and by products are silver, copper cathode and sulphuric acid. The Company now has 3 branches and 19 subsidiaries, with mineral resources scattered in five provinces in the PRC, which are Henan, Xinjiang, Jiangxi, Inner Mongolia and Gansu and one abroad in Kyrgyz Republic. As at the end of 2007, the total assets was 3.4 billion RMB. The gold production of 2007 reached nearly 13 tons. The sales revenue was 2.845 billion RMB, net profit was 222 million RMB and the profit per share was 0.29 RMB. By the 1H 2008 the total area of the exploration and mining rights is 1,278 km2, the gold reserve is 120t, gold production is 6,687kg and net profit is 128 million RMB.
