Metro Holdings Limited is a Singapore-based company. The Company is engaged in management and holding companies, retailers and department store operators, property investment and developers. The Company has two segments: property development and investment, and retail segment. The property segment is involved in the leasing of shopping and office spaces owned by the Company, operating of hotels and investing in property-related investments. It owns and manages 320,000 square metres of retail and office properties in cities in China, such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, and also holds significant investments in certain property businesses in China. The retail segment is involved in the business of retailing and operating of departmental stores. Its subsidiaries include Metro (Private) Limited, Metrobilt Pte Ltd, Meren Pte Ltd and Metro China Holdings Pte Ltd.
