Daewoo Motor Sales Corporation is a Korea-based automobile sales and service company. The Company operates its business under two segments: automobile marketing and construction. Its automobile marketing segment sells Daewoo buses and Tata Daewoo trucks, as well as other branded vehicles such as Audi, Volkswagen, Chrysler, Volve and others through its subsidiaries. The Company's construction segment constructs and engineers residential buildings, environment facilities and other plants. It also distributes and exports pre-owned cars, and provides after-market services. During the year ended December 31, 2007, automobile marketing segment accounted for approximately 83% of total sales. On August 26, 2008, the Company established a Korea-based wholly owned subsidiary, which is mainly engaged in the vehicle leasing businesses. On September 9, 2008, the Company established a Korea-based wholly owned subsidiary, which is mainly engaged in the marketing of imported automobiles.
