SK Chemicals Co., Ltd. is a Korean company that is engaged in the manufacture of chemicals and development of synthetic and natural drugs. The Company's offerings are organized in four product groups: polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resins, which are used as materials for PET bottles; fine chemicals, consisting of polyurethane resins, polyester adhesives, polyester acoustic and thermal insulation, environmental chemicals and chemicals for water treatment; life science products, including anti-cancer agents, antibiotics, vaccines, anti-inflammatory and analgesic patches, as well as acetate fibers and tows, which are used as tobacco filters and materials for apparels. The Company produces its PET resins through three subsidiaries: SK Eurochem, SK Keris and Huvis, with an annual production capacity of 420,000 tons of resins.
